The days that follow Christmas day are always fun for the kids: playing with all the new toys, unwrapping a few gifts saved, creating a mess. For mom and dad it’s another story: building Legos, cleaning messes and the worst of them all taking new toys out of boxes! To be honest J and I love every minute of it, we love to see how much fun the boys are having and how appreciative they are–they even use it against us. If they are misbehaving and we threaten to take the toy they are playing with away they say you can’t Nana Ruth or Grandma and Grandpa gave it to us! They sure are sly little guys!!

Christmas night @ Nana and Papa’s

We had dinner at the Beans and the boys got to open their gifts from Nana and Papa after dinner, it was nice to break up all the excitement. My parents bought Zane a kids camera for christmas a few years ago and recently Logan has been using it a lot, of course that causes all kinds of trouble w/Zane yelling @ Logan that it’s not his camera, so this year they bought one for Logan. His reaction was priceless: he exclaimed in the most genuine way this is just what I wanted! Of course we couldn’t get the video camera on quick enough to capture it!!
