Congratulations to Jen & Mark.

Jen gave birth to her first child on Wednesday (07.25.07). Weighing in at 10 pounds 6 ounces and 21 inches long, baby boy Joshua Thomas is a whopper.

The Carbonneau clan & the rest of my family wish you and your baby boy the best of luck, health, & lots of happiness.

We wish we were able to come and visit. Danielle has been talking about going back for a visit fairly soon, so maybe.

I was running through Target when I came across these really cool vintage style Nick and Nora sheets on sale, so I picked up a set for Zane and Logan.  I bought the Cowboy ones for Zane because of the cowboy kick he is in and Logan got the Scock Monkey ones because we call him a little monkey and he just loves monkeys!  We put them on their beds and when they found them they were exstatic!  They laid on their beds, jumped on their beds and even hugged their beds.  Then they hugged us and told us how much they loved us and their new sheets!  I’m always amazed at how something so simple as new sheets can make their day!  I’m enjoying it now, I know sheets will never buy a teenagers love!

At the end of June we went to Henderson NV to visit my friend Kylah and her husband Spencer.  I had missed Kylah’s baby shower in May and had been trying to get out there all month to see her and give her the baby gifts and I made it just in time she had Connor on July 3rd, just three days after we were there!  I had bought the babyswing and knew I needed to get it there before the birth.  We had a great time, my children terrorized her and Spencer but at least they didn’t destroy their house as much as last time!  I think being so close to Las Vegas they think “what happens in henderson stays in henderson”  I don’t know what it is but they were devils!  Spencer is a Major League Bowler and decided to take us bowling…this would be the first time for Zane and Logan bowling…they had a blast!  Lesson learned take Zane and Logan bowling but only stay for one string.  Thankfully there were no bowling ball injuries (except to my arm and J’s “bowling” knee) hehe and the boys ended up having a lot of fun and so did we!  Overall it was a great visit, we look forward to seeing the Stanton family the next trip out!
