One morning when we went to leave and opened up the garage door we found this very large plastic bag at the end of our drive way…it was also very heavy.  It was clear that is was from the phone company and was most likely a phone book but why was is so large.  We opened it up and there were 5 phone books:  Phoenix metro A-L and M-Z, Phoenix Metro residential, Phoenix metro business and the Valley of the Sun “convientent and portable” (this one is the size of the one phone book we had living in westfield.)  We are very overwhelmed and don’t really know where to look when we need to use them so we just stick to the internet.  J and I joked when we saw the street lined with them that  they couldn’t have thrown them from a truck because the neighborhood whould’ve thought we were under attack.

One day while talking to nana and papa on the phone Zane starts giving papa directions to Arizona.  We hear him say first you start by driving then when  it gets dark you find a place to sleep and in the morning you wake up and drive again until it gets dark then you find a place to sleep again but it is not Arizona yet you still need to drive but you will know when you are in Arizona because you will see “caskets” (cactus–”you know the the things you can’t touch because they are sharp”–Zane).   So be sure to write these directions down so when you are ready to come and visit you will be able to find your way!

It’s always sunny!  What a great way to live!  We often are outside until 7pm playing.  (to be fair we aren’t typically outside at 1pm when it’s 107 degrees!)  These pictures are of the boys playing in the sprinkler on May 14th at 6pm…Isn’t it gorgeous!  They really are having a blast, they’ve even became friends with most of the kids in neighborhood.  All the girls ask them for hugs when they see them and the boys have fun playing with their toys!  All the kids are ENVIOUS of the power wheels jeep they have.  Zane just lets the other kids drive and he goes along for the ride.  One day I had bought a pack of squirt guns for us and the boys brought them out front and before you knew the whole neighborhood was having a squirt gun fight, using guns or spray bottles…whatever they had on hand.  It was fun until a hose got brought out and Logan soaked mommy with it!   In these pictures notice what a big back yard we have! hehe..  We bought a weed wacker to mow it!  (I’M SERIOUS!)  The picture of me with the boys is mother’s day and my Eyore PJ’s they bought me!
