Did the summer fly by or what!!  I’m looking forward to fall and Halloween but not the winter, the snow, the cold, the heating bill!!!  I know everyone has said it but “CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW MUCH GAS COSTS!!!”  I sure am glad J got a job in Westfield not Hartford!!  I also can’t believe what has happened in the south…how one natural occurrence, a hurricane, can devastate so many lives.  I don’t even know what to say or think.

On a happier note the kids are doing great!!  Logan and Zane are great brothers and friends!!  I love to watch them bond!!  Zane runs around and Logan watches, Zane always makes sure to give Logan a toy and when he cries Zane Yells “mommy” or “daddy” “baby rye(cry)” he will pat him on the head or arm or give him a kiss until we get there.  Zane hates it when Logan sleeps!  He calls to him in a very loud voice “baby” and if that doesn’t work he Screams “MAIL” it’s from Blue’s Clue’s but I don’t know why he yells it to wake him up…but it always works!!  Zane is sharing so much with his brother he even gave him strawberry yogurt one day, in a matter of 30 seconds while I was washing my hands he gave him a spoonful of yogurt and Logan loved it.  I panicked but he enjoyed it so much I started him on solids…He does not like cereal at all…he spits it out and cries…I think he wants the yogurt again!

Logan is still growing too fast!!  He weighs 18 lbs and is 25 ¾ inches long.  He is wearing 6-9 month clothes.  I thought I was lucky having two boys because of the clothes situation but Logan is way too big for all of Zane’s fall clothes…I haven’t check the snow suite yet but I have a feeling I’ll be buying a new one!  Logan is so social…he talks all the time and is starting to babble “MAMAMAMA…”  I love to hear it!!  He laughs a lot and plays a lot.  He doesn’t really like to be alone or away from me much.  I’m working nights now so it’s a little easier on J but when he realizes I’m not there I guess he cries…A LOT!  My mom even got to experience it once when my dad and I took Zane to the Westfield Fair to watch the Truck Pulls.  Logan rolled belly to back on the 31st and now constantly rolls both ways.  He’s also an excellent sleeper!  He sleeps 9pm to 5am eats then sleeps 5:30am till 8 or Sometimes 9 am then he takes one afternoon nap for an hour or so.

Zane had his 2 year check up and he weighs 25 lbs, exactly the same weight from his 18 month checkup!!  He went from the 90th percentile to the 25th percentile.  I was freaked out!!  I felt like it was my fault!!  He is growing taller and is 36″ tall the doctor just said he’s going to be a tall thin boy and that he’s active so not to worry unless he starts to loose weight!  He seems so much more grown up now that he’s 2.  He is starting to put words into sentences and says things like “baby’s hat” “blue hat” “bye-bye yellow bird” and he LOVES to be funny and he makes himself laugh a lot!  He loves looking for the moon and watching airplanes. On the 27th we took Zane the air show at Barnes.  He had a blast looking at the planes and walking in a few with me.  His favorite part was sitting in side the big airplane.  I couldn’t get him to leave.  We didn’t stay long because it was very hot and Logan had enough!  Luckily my parents live so close to the airport we saw the whole show from their yard.  Logan hated wearing the headphones to protect his ears.  He squirmed his way out of them every time!!

Check out the new galleries.  There are a few pictures of the air show…not too many because it was just me and my parents (J was at work) and two little boys, we were too busy making sure we went home with our two boys!
