Zane’s speech therapist thinks that he has caught up with his age for his speech.  He is saying sooo many words and is putting together 2-3 word phrases.  He says “mommy were blue” and he’ll say “baby were are you” (okay that’s 4 words!) some others are “want cookie” “want cracker” etc… “mommy/daddy come back”  “be back”.  He is beyond his age in comprehension.  He can name most colors:  Blue, red, purple, yellow, pink and black.  And some shapes:  circle, moon, star, he calls triangles cheese.  He calls cows “moo”, sheep “baa” and trains “choo choo”.  His newest “wow” moment was when we were all driving to the mall J and I were talking and Zane was “talking” to himself in the back seat like he always does and all of a sudden we realize he was really singing the Who song “who are you”.  He would say “who are you….Ooo…ooo….ooo…ooo”  he had the right beat and everything!!  He absolutely loves the song whenever CSI is on he comes running and dances to it…now he can sing it!!   Zane also has discovered the phone!!  One day he took my cell phone and managed to dial pa pa’s number from my contacts list and left a message when the answering machine picked up…all he said was “pa pa? oh”  I didn’t know what was going on until my dad called me and said “Zane just left me a message”  and I found Zane sitting on the couch with my phone!
