Today was my first full day back to work. A whole 12 hours away from Zane…it drove me absolutely crazy!! I don’t go back full time until Sept. 13th and I’m already dreading being away from him that much!

Grandma and Grandpa Bean watched Zane so mom and dad could go on their first “date” since Zane was born. J and I went to dinner and strolled through Northampton – just the two of us – missing Zane very much!! We thought about going to a movie but with all the sleepless nights we’re having I thought I would fall asleep.

Zane went to see his pediatrician, Dr. Spivak today. He weighs 11 lbs 6 oz and is 22 inches long – what a big boy!! He had a hepatitis B shot and it absolutely broke our hearts to here him cry!
