Over the 4th of July weekend we went to Las Vegas to visit our friends Kylah and Spencer and celebrate their sons 2nd birthday! We had a great time…once we got their!
We didn’t realize that there would be so much traffic and we ended up sitting in a 2 1/2 hour traffic jam waiting to go over the dam.
The boys had a lot of fun, they enjoyed spending time with Connor and Logan loved the firework display that Spencer and Ed put on, it’s legal to do some fireworks in NV, but Zane was afraid he was “going to die” and thought we were going to get in trouble so after a few displays he decided to go inside and watch Elmo with Connor.
The drive home we went through Laughlin, an hour longer but no dam to go over with stopped traffic! It was a nice drive, unfortunately we saw a car flipped over a truck and boat that hard just finished burning and a Semi that had been on fire for a while because we were watching the black smoke for about an hour and finally passed it as they were finally putting it out. It made me a bit nervous but not J who had dreams of video game racing games as we drove through the twists and turns in a mini van!

What a job to make the trip. I can’t imagine seeing all those accidents. I agree that is a great picture of Logan & Danyelle
