We didn’t realize that there would be so much traffic and we ended up sitting in a 2 1/2 hour traffic jam waiting to go over the dam.

The boys had a lot of fun, they enjoyed spending time with Connor and Logan loved the firework display that Spencer and Ed put on, it’s legal to do some fireworks in NV, but Zane was afraid he was “going to die” and thought we were going to get in trouble so after a few displays he decided to go inside and watch Elmo with Connor.

The drive home we went through Laughlin, an hour longer but no dam to go over with stopped traffic!  It was a nice drive, unfortunately we saw a car flipped over a truck and boat that hard just finished burning and a Semi that had been on fire for a while because we were watching the black smoke for about an hour and finally passed it as they were finally putting it out.  It made me a bit nervous but not J who had dreams of video game racing games as we drove through the twists and turns in a mini van!  :)   Enjoy the pics!

J also found a music class for them, they are learning so much and having fun doing it!  They also made a volcano…that was pretty awesome, they worked on it for a week, building, learning about valcanos and doing some science experiments.  On friday they had a show for me, Nana dna Papa–it was great!

As a family we have gone to the Pheonix Childrens Museum that was Zane’s request for his one thing to do this summer!  We have filled the days (and nights) with water balloon fights and a fun new slip n slide…even J got in on the fun!

Now that the weather has hit 100’s-110’s we will opt for more indoor fun or evening events!  Next on their “to do” list is Transformers 2 @ IMAX, and to build a robot!  here are some pictures:

My favorite person in Toy Story is Woody. I am soooo excited for this to come out. My brother likes Buzz. We’ve been waiting for a looooong time.

This time he said “it’s my money so I can buy it, right!?!”  It made his day!!  Here are some picturesof the big day!

 

We filled our own helium balloons and just covered the ceiling of the living room with balloons! Some of the water balloons had goodies in them so the boys had to pop the balloons to find all the toys!  What fun!  They finished the weekend with a trip to Nana and Papa’s on Easter to have an egg hunt.  They had a BLAST!
